National Trust Properties in South Devon
Several beautifully maintained heritage sites provide wonderful days for visitors within just a short drive. With stately premises, romantic woodlands and a great deal of history, Greenway is one of Devon's best loved places to visit for Agatha Christie fans. It was here that the Christie family spent many happy summers and the great lady would read her latest mysteries to guests.
Bradley Manor is another scenic stately home bursting with character and and grounds so pretty the visitor feels like they have stepped back in time. Or for an equally enchanting trip into the past, Compton Castle is a medieval site with plenty of things to see and connections with hostorical figures including Sir Walter Raleigh.
The South Hams
With miles of unspoiled coast, quiet coves and some of Devon's prettiest seaside towns, the South Hams are also with easy reach of Bickley Mill.
